An industry on the move?
A survey of manager migration, fund redomiciliation & back office relocation
Much has been said and written about manager migration, fund redomiciliation and back office relocation. But little to no serious research has yet been done on these areas of the business.
As a result, IFI’s research department is conducting a major global survey with fund managers, their advisors and administrators to determine how much the fund industry (particularly the alternative side of it) is likely to move from where they are currently located – and where they are likely to go.

Redomiciliation to Ireland made easier

Ireland’s Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation has signed a commencement order for the previously passed Companies (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 2009 on Tuesday. The Act empowers the Minister to enable certain countries, with similar laws to that in Ireland, to redomicile their funds and continue operating in the country.

IPES launches fund administration office in Luxembourg

Private equity fund administrator, Ipes, will commence offering its fund administration services in Luxembourg this week, following authorisation and regulation by the Ministry of Finance and the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier on 3 September. Ipes opened its Luxembourg office last December and was given its license as a Chartered Accountant Company in February.
