Webcast & Event Notice: The future of the fund of hedge fund industry: What do investors want?

International Fund Investment is hosting a debate on March 31, 2001 which will examine the future of fund of hedge funds.

After a period of uninterrupted growth from inception until 2008, the fund of hedge fund industry has gone through a difficult period. Assets in fund of hedge funds have fallen from $1.42 trillion in 2008 to $950 billion at the end of 2010, according to S&P.

Nevertheless, despite some recent problems, fund of hedge funds will almost certainly remain the means that the majority of investors will continue to use to access hedge funds. The debate will therefore addresses the following themes:

• Performance

• Transparency (portfolio & operational)

• Fees

• Operational issues
